European Museum Collaboration
For World Space Week 2026, the European Space Agency and The Pokémon Company have launched a collaborative in-person event featuring a space-suited variant known as Astronaut Pikachu in Pokémon GO. Players can visit participating science and space museums across Europe to participate in one-star raids and Timed Research tasks to unlock the character. [1]
Event Schedule and Requirements
The time-limited Astronaut Pikachu event runs until October 10, 2026, though rewards must be claimed by October 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Developers have also indicated that rare Shiny versions of the spacefaring Pokémon may appear, and additional Timed Research opportunities are scheduled through April 30, 2027. [1]
