Lineup Changes for NLDS Game 3

For Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Atlanta Braves announced a strategic lineup shift. Infielder Ha-Seong Kim drew the start at shortstop, which resulted in Mauricio Dubón shifting over to left field. The adjustment initially pushed outfielder Lane Thomas out of the starting lineup before further pre-game adjustments were made. [1] [2]

Late Adjustments and Roster Context

Manager Walt Weiss also adjusted the batting order after Ronald Acuña Jr. experienced a sore knee stemming from a slide during Game 2. Acuña moved to the designated hitter role, temporarily altering the bench availability and bringing Lane Thomas back into the starting configuration. Meanwhile, Chris Sale took the mound for Atlanta to face Los Angeles starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto. [1] [2]
